Do you wait?
August 29, 2009
I just have to put this down somewhere before I forget it again.
Don’t sit and wait for your life to happen.
Life is waiting for you to make it happen.
There.
Have a Nice Day!

I could probably be one of the grumpiest McDonald’s workers in Australia, or Victoria, or ..my store?
I have to be honest, one of the things in life that makes me angry is the fact that I am working at McDonald’s.
Don’t get me wrong though, when I started working there about 3 years ago, I loved that place. The pay was decent and the people were really nice. I only get intimidated by the customers who demands a whole lot of crap from us.
And now, 3 years later, relatively a a senior customer service lol, I actually cannot tell whether I’m a better worker or not. Of course, in terms of knowledge and/or procedures, I think I can get a 4.5 stars out of 5.
But in customer service area.. HMMMMM..
(the rest of this entry is under a cut, click the link below to read more, it got too long)
There’s still hope..

Morning.
I know it’s really late to say thi, but, RIP John Hughes.
To be honest, I did not feel as affected from his death. He wasn’t for my generation. I know my dad would know who he is and can probably recall what movies he’s done. Not me, though..
A friend of mine in Twitter put a link to THIS blog entry.
An entry that made me, a person who didn’t have any connection with Mr. Hughes at all, felt extremely at lost with his departure. The world had just lost such an amazing person, yet again.
Have a read.
It gave me a little bit more hope.
When will they come down?
August 5, 2009
So I’ve started this day pretty late.
Had a pretty awesome sleep and it lasted til about 11 in the morning. As a result, I had a bowl of cereal with a semi-skim milk (not joking, it says semi-skim on the box) as lunch.
Then I went on to working on my projects. I designed half of my set of alphabets last night, so I feel pretty much accomplished for that one, I can rush somethings tonight or the night before….not. I shall finish the whole set tonight. HAH! Self-conscious came on time I think.
Anyways, I am currently working on my studio project which is mapping. I shall not bore you with details of this project. I will probably post up the finished product up on Little Miss Yuwono, so maybe watch out for it there.
I’ve been pampering my ears with all the most awesome tunes in my iTunes all day. It seems like it’s really improving my brain and mood. I’m just in a delightful mode right now.
Listening to all these awesome music makes me wonder WHY can’t they come down under more often. I would seriously cry for them to come down.
Here’s a list of artists that I REALLYREALLYREALLYREALLY want to rock for:
- Eric Hutchinson, okay so he came here on April with all the love that’s Jason Mraz. But I want, I demand, a headlining show for him here. This guys defines awesome (maybe he can share the spot with J, I’m sure he won’t mind) and Australia needs more awesome. Seriously! I miss his on stage energy!
- Anya Marina, one of my biggest girl crush ever right now. She SERIOUSLY needs some down under loving. I KNOW she will be big. Here and everywhere else.. If not as a musician, maybe as a professional Twitterer. If you have a twitter account and would like to be entertained, follow her.
- Paolo Nutini, holy motherfuther, he NEEDS to come down. I desperately want him here. I think I became his fan way before I became a fan of Anya and Eric, but wasn’t that big of a fan until his last album came out. That shit is an awesome record. I know nothing about his personal life or his band, all I know is that they play awesome music. And that’s all that matters for me now. Come down Paolo!
- Ingrid Michaelson. Oh gosh, I have been pretty much campaigning in facebook for her, asking my friends to demand for a Down Under tour as well. Ingrid has such sweet sweet sound and you will all love her. I just know it. Her pitchy tone might annoy some, but you just can’t deny that her music catches you like that. She’s also a funny one, follow her Twitter for random tweets that tickle.
Now the big question is, WHEN are they coming to tour down here?
Okay, I think that’s all for now. I should get back to work.
Happy World; Happy You
August 1, 2009
Coincidentally I stumbled upon these two articles today.
The first one was one of SuperForest‘s 100 Ways To Make The World A Better Place.

The idea for this point was: Make Others Happy
“Everyday, choose someone who will be with you (almost) all day, and do everything to make that person happier. I use this system:
Mondays: Dad
Tuesdays: Mom
Wednesdays: Brother
Thursdays: Sister
Saturdays: Friends I’m going out with
Sundays: People I don’t know
Fridays are my favourite day of the week, so it’s for me.”
I think this was a simple yet effective way. I guess I have to make my friends happy today then
Not that I don’t normally try to make them happy any other days..

The second one was Eckhart Tolle’s 10 Powerful Insights to a Happier You
This one is a much longer article, and I know some people might be too lazy to click on the link above. So I copied and pasted the whole article here.
