The Gratitude Cafe Tour Challenge – Add to the Gratitude Wave

Here’s your practical challenge to help make your up & comping summer tour experience your most highest-vibe yet.

The intention for the tour is GRATITUDE and you can line your energy up to that to revel in the combined energy of a shared-intent. Over the next 30 days and leading all the way up to your first Gratitude Cafe show, you can create and add to your own energy-bank of gratitude in a conscious and continuous way.

Practice it daily either here or in your own private journal (if you don’t already do it) to reap the benefits of this higher energy and the power of combined intention. The energy is contagious and power-full!

Here are some borrowed ideas (from Chris Guillebeau) on what to do over the coming days:
* Spend three minutes every morning writing down a few things you are grateful for that day, make it part of your routine
* Devote a full morning or afternoon to composing a more detailed gratefulness list. (One tip: think both about what you are grateful for and also how you can show that gratitude)
* Make it a habit to encourage at least one person every day whether you’re sending out an email, text, calling etc.

* For one day (or more), say something positive to every person you meet Lastly, every good challenge is one that reaches many, so pass on the challenge to others mraz-tour-ventures.

Remind your mind all that is good right here and right now daily, and share in the intent and the energy.

Catch the vibe – you can make and create your most GRATEFUL summer yet!

:)

A Little Follow Up!

January 10, 2009

Oh wow 2009 now?

So my last post was posted right before I left for my trip. Here’s some answers to the most common questions asked to me after I got back.

Yes, I had good fun. Even my HongKong stay was awesome even though I wasn’t planning it much or at all.

Yes, I spent heaps of money. I think I almost got over my credit card limit. I don’t think I did, but damn I’m scared as hell to check my balance. But I paid my minimum payment…

Yes, I went shopping in Hong Kong and Japan. Went to Shibuya and Harajuku, they were awesome places. Wish I had more time to explore and go to every corner of them!

Yes, I got lost… but only onec. And if it wasn’t for Lilian I would have been lost and gone forever in that country. For real..

No, I didn’t meet any potential boys nor any celebrities there. Although I could have sworn that I saw one half of the Kinki Kids in Shibuya carring lots of shopping bags with some black dude. No I wasn’t being racist, I’m a yellow woman for goodness sake.

Yes, I’ve been back to work, but haven’t been working for many hours, so I am still broke.

Yes, I wanna go back and spend more time (and money) there. And I will go back one day. Not this year, because I would have to focus on my last year of uni. Graduating in less than 10 months? Scary. What do you guys think of me being a teacher?

No, I didn’t buy you anything.

Anymore questions? Feel free to shoot me some more love.

Anyways, the lack of internet seriously depresses me. I spent my time either sleeping or watching useless television entertainment. I’ve forgotten how hard it is to decide which crime investigation shows to watch every night. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. Also, I have a new crush on Ellen. She is an awesome woman. If I were gay, I’d so go kick deRossi’s ass and keep Ellen for myself. She’s one funny lady.

Why can’t I be an active person and waste time by…exercising? Running?

Oh no wait, I was so bored, I actually DID exercise.
